The “White/Red” Air Jordan XII is making its long-awaited return later this year. These beauties released back in January 1997 and were seen on the feet of Michael Jordan as he Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman led the Bulls to 69-13 record en route to their 5th NBA championship.
Inspired by the rising sun of Japanese folklore it sports a white leather upper with stitched ribs emanating from a central point. Varsity red mudgaurds are preesent on both the lateral and medial sides, with the former displaying a plastic overlay that reads “JUMPMAN.” Metallic eyelets are seen at the top two eyelets as well as a black inner.
On the white leather tongue, an embrodered Jumpman is found at the top and “TWO3” runs down the section. On the rear is a Jumpman emblazoned pull tab, with the rest reading “JORDAN” and “QUALITY INSPIRED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER.”
Underneath resides a white and red midsole that is home to Zoom Air cushioning and a red rubber outsole with black traction sections and Jumpman of the same hues.
The “White/Red” Air Jordan XII is scheduled to released October 28 at nike.com and select retail establishments; they wil carry a 210 USD and will also release in ful-family sizing.
